Diana June Allen, 69, passed away May 14, 2017 at her home in Harrisonville, MO. She was born November 24, 1947 the daughter of John and Ethel “Maxine” Frances (Taylor) Reed. Diana retired after working 40 years for Zurich formally Universal Underwriters Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her high school sweet heart and husband of 39 years, Richard Ray Allen on December 10, 2009. Diana enjoyed being outdoors, boating, swimming and traveling. Above all she loved her grandchildren. She spoiled them rotten. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death...

Diana retired after working 40 years for Zurich formally Universal Underwriters Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her high school sweet heart and husband of 39 years, Richard Ray Allen on December 10, 2009. Diana enjoyed being outdoors, boating, swimming and traveling. Above all she loved her grandchildren. She spoiled them rotten. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by 4 brothers, William “Bill” Robert Reed, John “Dick” Richard Reed, James “Jimmy” Michael Reed and Daniel “Danny” Charles Reed. Diana is survived by her son, Richard “Rocky” Ray Allen, II and wife Rachael Elizabeth Allen; 4 grandchildren, Evan Ray Allen, Joshua Link Allen, Elijah “Eli” Lee Allen and Joseph “Joe” James Allen; 1 brother, Roger Allen Reed; 2 sisters, Sharon Parker and Patricia “Pat” Davis, her loving partner of 3 years, J.D. Harris and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2017 from 9am until service time at 10 am at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Private family burial at a later date.
