Obituary


Frances Lovan Masters passed away August 9, 2017. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19th at 1:00pm followed by funeral services at 2:00. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Frances was born August 3, 1944 in Kansas City, MO to LeRoy and Nellie Heflin. She married Abel Sipu and together they had 3 children, Curtis (Julie), Christina (Kyle), and Gina (Eugene Marshall). On August 6, 1995, she married J. Dean Masters, becoming a mother to 8 step children, Richard, Debbie, Tonia, Shawn, Sherrie, Carmen, Deanna, and Jamie....

Dean Masters, becoming a mother to 8 step children, Richard, Debbie, Tonia, Shawn, Sherrie, Carmen, Deanna, and Jamie. Frances was an active member of New Life Ministries church since 1978 and helped many people through the church. Frances worked for several businesses over the years, including Ace Electric, Monarch Egg, Center School District cafeteria, Ryder Student Transportation, and for a short time as a self employed house cleaner. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed going to Branson, Disneyland, and visiting other states. Frances is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Joann, Peggy, and Patty; and 3 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, children, step-children, siblings (Leann, Mary, John, Viola, Stella, Ernie), 30 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. As a final act of love after passing away, Frances was an organ donor because she wanted to help as many people as she could.
